No One Can Make You Feel Inferior...

“No one can make you feel inferior without your consent.”

I've always loved this quote, because of how true it is.  I've noticed that people feel 'less than' when they are not sure of their own choices. When someone questions your choice, whatever it may be, you should be confident enough of your choice to stand up under said questioning. And to even stand without feeling the need to defend or the need to be louder than or feel that EVERYONE must feel the way you do.

Trying to convince people that they should make your choice shouldn't be a shouting match. Nor should it be a shame slinging debate. If you truly want someone to make similar choices...guide them, don't force it.

If you are confident in your choice as a person, a spouse, a parent and a friend...then what can others say to you?

*this stems from more Mommy Wars or Mommy competitions.*
