Well...we survived our first canning experience a few weeks ago! It was fun! I can't wait to do it again, and this time take MORE pictures of the whole process. :) I was too focused on getting things 'just so' as it was my first time, ever, canning.
We made dill pickles, dill relish and sweet relish! Can't wait to try it soon, after it's cured. :)

Where did you get your canning supplies? I want to can some salsa but I am worried about the start up cost.
ReplyDeleteMy Mom got them at various stores, so I'm not 100% sure, but I know that Walmart, Ace and Alco are on the list of 'where'. We didn't have the big canning pot, or the jar basket, which we decided was a must! So much easier and less headaches when putting in the jars, and taking them out.
