My Health

I know this might be a redundant post, but I'm feeling horrible today. I have been for the past few days...weeks. I know that my eating has to get under control again. At least in the way of not eating the foods that my body hates. Enough is enough.

I'm tired, exhausted even. I haven't felt this way in 6-7 months.
I'm losing more hair than I'd like to see.
My focus is shot to pieces.
I'm dizzy more often than not.
I get headaches again.
My face is breaking out.
My tooth hurts. (long story short, it hurt before I went gluten free, and then it didn't anymore as long as I wasn't eating gluten!)

I just want to whine and complain, but really it won't accomplish much. I won't feel better after doing it. I just need to acknowledge that I need help. His help, to stick with this until I can find what makes me feel better, and healthy.

Added to this, is that I need to keep on top of the kids food issues. While you know Jeremiah has some allergies, it seems highly possible that his sister is following, which I'm sad about. Poor kids.

One thing I've noticed it that for the most part, people don't know how to handle food allergies. Some choose to ignore that it's real. Some try hard to make things for you to eat, but don't know how many details have to be considered. Some probably don't care, as long as it doesn't effect them directly.

All in all, it's up to me, to keep the foods we eat as 'allergy' free as possible.

If you have food allergies, what do you do, to keep from the temptations of the 'forbidden' foods? And on the other side of that, if you're not tempted, how or why??

  1. Wow! That's a lot to deal with! None of us have any real issues. I am so thankful for that! As far as temptation goes, it's just mind over matter and takes lots of practice. It's really hard when your kids are small and leave so much food on their plates! Praying you feel much better soon!!!
