Deuteronomy 11:13
13 ‘And it shall be that if you earnestly obey My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord your God and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul
It's self imposed, and came after some thought and prayer about priorities. I've tried to limit myself, with limited success. I went back to my usual amount of time, of "Too-Much!" after a short while. So this choice was my next one.
A 40 Day Fast from Facebook.
God is working in me and my heart on a lot of issues, big and small. And to do so, my choices and priorities need to be under His microscope. I can't pretend to understand the outcome, only that the process takes work on my part.
Please know, that if I cannot stay away from Facebook, I will deactivate my account until the fast is over. Which would mean not even updates from my blog.
