Retro 40-50's Look

I love the 40's and 50's style of hair, makeup and clothing. 

Back then, it didn't seem to matter what size you wore, you looked great.

I know that a lot of it was the undergarments. 

Lots of shaping with them, the clothing, the makeup and hair...all to create this beautiful silhouette.

 Of course, I'm sure it wasn't all that comfortable, especially by the end of the day. 

But I'm willing to gather things to create this look for myself. 

I'm torn between being more authentic, or going...rockabilly with it. 

Both would be fun, and I know I could do both. ;)
